GUYS!!!!! I AM SO EXCITED ABOUT THIS!
Today I am so excited and honored to announce the launch of Stacked, a new start up that lets you purchase blogger curated looks (or “stacks”) at a discount compared to the full retail cost. I am especially excited because… yup, you guessed it: I was chosen to be one of the first guest stylists. =)
While putting together my stack, I knew it had to be versatile. Something that everyone could love and make their own. It had to be able to be dressed up or down, worn with other pieces or on its own, and it had to be something that would look great on everyone. It was a tall order, but I wound up choosing a top by Amanda Uprichard, and earrings, a ring, and a necklace by Melanie Auld. It actually all fell into place pretty perfectly, which made it all the more difficult to keep to myself until the launch date, haha.
The Melanie Auld jewelry is dainty and simple with gold linear designs, and crystal pavé gives it just the right amount of sparkle. You can wear each piece on its own, together, or mixed and matched with your other favorite accessories. Want to layer necklaces? You can do that. What to rock an arm party and 5 more rings? You can do that. Want to keep it simple but still add just a touch of glitz to your outfit? You can do that too.
The Amanda Uprichard top is a beautiful lavender colored silk crop top with an off the shoulder neckline and a ruffle that is just the right amount of feminine without crossing the line into girly territory. I honestly can’t get over the color; it’s gorgeous and will compliment any skin tone. And it passes the dress-up-or-down test: wear it with crazy bell bottoms and a cross body for a casual 70s vibe, skinny jeans (white ones would be especially amazing) and heels for a night out, or tucked into your favorite cut-offs (or summer jeans) with wedges for the perfect summer look.
I want to thank the founders of Stacked, Marcos and Amanda, for reaching out to me and giving me this amazing opportunity. And I also want to thank my Mom for putting up with me dragging her to the local botanical garden to take my picture roughly a million times. You guys are the best!
Sooo, what do you think!? How would you style my “stack“?
