I hope you are all having a fantastic holiday season =) I’ve been borderline overwhelmed with all the end-of-the-year-holy-crap-we-need-to-get-things-done craziness, but I wanted to just quickly share this cranberry sauce recipe with you in case you wanted to use it for your Christmas dinner!
I actually tried this and shared it on my Instagram around Thanksgiving, but it was a hit with my family and so I thought I’d make it an official blog recipe. It’s a great dish to make ahead and bring in some Tupperware if you’re traveling to a family member’s house and want to bring something to help with putting dinner together.
:: Ingredients ::
12 ounces of cranberries (fresh or frozen)
1 cup brown sugar
2 Tablespoons orange juice
Peel of half an orange (using a veggie peeler makes it easy to remove without getting too much of the white stuff)
- Place the ingredients in a pot on low heat and stir until the sugar dissolves.
- Increase the heat to medium and cover until all the cranberries burst.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Easy peasy lemon squeezy. Am I right? What are your favorite holiday recipes?
Have a great day!
